The Conference devoted to “Measures for stabilization of the Russian food market” organized by the National Union of Consumer Rights Protection will take place in Moscow concert hall of Ostankino TV tower in December 10, 2015 at 15:00 p.m. The Partner is exhibition company “Asti Group”.
Representatives of the Government Import Phase-out Commission, the Ministries of Agriculture and Economic Development, Health, Fishery, Industry and Trade, the Federal Service for Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance , the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology, the State Duma deputies, members of the Federation Council, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Department for Food and Services in Moscow, the Department of Consumer Market and Services in the Moscow region, Government authorities and over 50 constituent entities of the RF, representatives of institutions and test stations, retail members, food producers and mass media as well as the President of Barley, Malt, Hops & Beer Union, a food quality expert of the Weihenstephan Research Center of the TU Minich Alexander Mordovin and representatives of the industrial associations will take part in the conference.
After completion of the conference, the Union of Consumer Rights Protection will give out the quality results of products selling at the Moscow region markets. Producers and companies- owners of the best brands will get “National Quality Award”.
It is no secret that much of food products sold to citizens are plastic and unhealthy: with vegetable and trans fat, GMO, antibiotics, additives, cancerigenic taste modifiers, dangerous package etc. Marking “naturality”, “ecological cleanness” is often used by careless producers as a marketing mix. But according to our legislation, compulsory certification of food products has been cancelled and the declaration of compliance is issued by hundreds of commercial organizations without product testing. The Union of Consumer Rights Protection constantly receives requests concerning food selection and is ready to make public results of their expert and analytical work.
