According to the decision of Private Brauereien Deutschland, an organizer of one of the most prestigious world brewing competitions European Beer Star, the President of Barley, Malt, Hops and Beer Union Alexander Mordovin and the chief technologist of “PC Khlebnash” and LLC “Kega” Anna Zelenkova are invited to the Expert Jury of the competition European Beer Star.
The Brewery LLC “Kega” became a winner of the competition “ROSGLAVPIVO” – The Best Russian Beer” in categories Dark Beer (4) and Red Amber Lager (14) and also came first at the competition stage “ROSGLAVPIVO” – Consumer’s Choice”.
Expert tasting will be held in August 10, 11 2017 in Germany. Over 2.000 beers in 57 categories will be submitted for approval to the Expert Jury.
It bears noting that from the year of 2017, Russian brewing companies – members of Barley, Malt, Hops and Beer Union has a right to participate in European Beer Star, addressing to the Press-Office of the Union, completing registration documents in Russian language, besides, beer shall be send to the Russian postal address of our Union and then we’ll resend it to Germany (collected customs cargo). Members of the Union pay the cost of participation and Russian postal expenditures only. Expenses, connected with sending of beers to Germany, including customs clearance are for Union account.
By tradition, any members of Barley, Malt, Hops and Beer Union, being in a membership during 5 years, have a right to get VIP-tickets for “Winners’ Night” – an evening festive event of 57 winners of European Beer Star that will take place in September 13, 2017 within DrinkTec, Munich.
