Agricultural machinery plant “CLAAS” (2017-05-11)

LLC “CLAAS” (http://www.claas.ru) is the only plant in Russia, producing combine harvesters and tractors of the German brand CLAAS, is a top four among 13 largest companies of the corporation all over the world. Now it is the most advanced agricultural machinery plant in Europe.

In 2003, the production of agricultural machinery was launched in Russia in Krasnodar. In 2015 production areas have been enlarged, including starting of metalworking, color, conveying installation workshops. Production areas are 45 000 sq.m.,; plant capacity – 2500 thousand of units per year; staff – over 450 persons.

At present, the plant produces 9 models of combine harvesters and tractors.

In June 17, 2016 within Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Russian Government, represented by the Ministry of Trade and Industry signed a special investment contract with the Russian plant “CLAAS”. So, combine harvesters, made in Krasnodar, were assigned a status of “the Russian product” followed by financial support of the Government.

Investments to CLAAS, Krasnodar are near 150 mln.Euro.
