The Barley, Malt and Beer Union has started organizing the Vth Anniversary Conference that will take place in Moscow from 17 to 19 September 2013. For September 17 a grand opening of the Conference at the Ministry of Agriculture with participation of the Minister of Agriculture RF Fedorov N.V. is scheduled.
The best representatives of the production chain “malting barley – beer” will be awarded the Letters of Acknowledgement of the Ministry of Agriculture and they will be given the title “Honored Agricultural Worker of the RF”. The President of the Union A. Mordovin will solicit for awarding two representatives of the industry with a medal “For contribution to development of the agroindustrial complex of Russia”.
A Round table with the representatives of the malting and brewing industries will be held for major malting barley producers and traders. After lunch departure to the II Festival of national beverage, kvass and beer “Peredelkifest” is scheduled. On September 18–19 there will be a diversified business program. Participants will be offered a choice of the following working groups: “Barley + Hops”, “Malt”, “Beer”.
