Malt import to Russia 2012-2013 (2013-11-25)

According to the statistical information malt import into the territory of the Russian Federation from January to September 2013 was 60.542 thousand tons. It was less than from the same period last year…

when there were imported 102.466 thousand tons. In 2012 the total quantity of import was 123.076 thousand tons.

The main suppliers of imported malt were:

Germany (2012: 22.253 thou.t., 2013: 12.402 thou.t.),
Finland (2012: 23.801 thou.t., 2013: 8.749 thou.t.),
Czech Republic (2012: 14.876 thou.t., 2013: 7.403 thou.t.),
Denmark (2012: 16.099 thou.t., 2013: 11.987 thou.t.),
Belgium (2012: 5.335 thou.t., 2013: 792 thou.t.),
and Slovakia (2012: 13.481 thou.t., 2013: 3.641 thou.t.).

It is notable that sufficiently large malt volume imported from the People’s Republic of China in 2012 was 10.545 thousand tons.
