Russian “Ale” captured gold in Great Britain. (2015-02-18)

Beer brand “Ale Shaggy Bumblebee” of the Moscow Brewing Company captured a gold medal in the competition “International Brewing Awards 2015” that has been held in Great Britain since 1886.

The results of one of the oldest international brewing contests InternationalBrewingAwards have been reviewed. The Russian beer brand “Ale Shaggy Bumblebee” of the Moscow Brewing Company captured a gold medal in the category “Ale 5.0% – 5.4% ABV”. It bears noting that it is the only Russian product in the list of winners, counting over 110 brands in different categories.

Beer brand “Ale Shaggy Bumblebee” hit the stores at the end of 2014 and caused a furore among “craft beer lovers”. This beer brand was brewed in AmericanAmberAle style and was created by the major brewer of the Moscow Brewing Company Mikhail Ershov plus name and a sticker. “Ale Shaggy Bumblebee” is top-fermentation beer, brewed in limited volumes with using of hops “Tsitra” and “Kaskad”, often added to craft brands.
