In September 17, 2015, within the certificate-giving ceremony, the Head of the Weihenstephan Center, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Fritz Jacob noted:

“Alexander Mordovin has the necessary expert background in malt and brewing production, core competencies and expertise”.

According to the results of Alexander Mordovin’s visit to the Weihenstephan Research Center for Brewing and Food Quality, it was decided to conclude a Cooperation Agreement between Barley, Malt, Hops & Beer Union and the Weihenstephan Center. So, the Union will represent interests of the Center at the territory of participating countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and A. Mordovin will be an official representative of the Center. Partners will offer representatives of the production chain “barley – beer” a complex of services: from legal services and protection of interests in judicial authorities, to consulting, including start-up, equipment and technologies, cost minimization, production expansion, modernization and analytical researches. It bears noting that the Center has one of the best yeast collections. The Weihenstephan Center has been created in 2004, became a “successor” of German State Scientific and Research Brewing Institute and is subordinated to the Technical University of Munich.

Compared to some private research institutes, the state and scientific status of the Weihenstephan Center guarantees noninterference of the private business in the consulting sphere and it is the most authoritative, neutral and competent partner of the brewing and food industry, raw material producers, government authorities and public communities.

Now, over 600 brewing companies are clients of the Center. We’ll be happy, if companies, located at the territory of participating countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, will join the Weihenstephan Center.
