Russia-China Intergovernmental Commission approved the project “Organization of scientific trials of malting barley varieties” (2012-11-14)

The co-project of the Barley, Malt and Beer Union (BMBU) and China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries (CNRIFFI) “Organization of scientific trials of malting barley varieties” that aims to organize trials and production of malting barley varieties in Russia for export to China, was approved at the XVI session of the Russia-China Intergovernmental Commission on Organization of Regular Meetings between the Heads of the Governments that took place on November 1, 2012 in Beijing.

The Russian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation N.V. Tretyak. The Chinese delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China Cao Jianlin.

The Protocol and the list of projects approved at the XVI session of the Russia-China Intergovernmental Commission for implementation in the period of 2013-2014 can be provided on request.
