Cargill Russia

Cargill began furnishing grain supplies to the USSR in 1963. In 1991, a Cargill office opened in Moscow, Russia resulting in enhanced operations in Russian regions. The company’s 2011 acquisition of a global feed producer Provimi resulted in a larger Cargill presence in Russia.

Cargill employs about 2,700 employees in Russia. Cargill is one of the biggest foreign investors in agro-processing segment of Russian economy with the amount overrunning $900 million USD.
