Renewal of the Working Group of the Government Commission for Alcohol (2017-04-03)

In March 15, 2017 the Deputy Chairman of the Government Commission A.G. Khloponin approved new members of the Working Group for Improving of the Government Regulation and Competitiveness of the Alcohol Market within the Government Commission for Improvement of Competitiveness and Alcohol Market Regulation (Order No 1759п-П11).

The following representatives of Unions, reflecting interests of alcohol industry, entered into the composition:

– Bushina I.A., the Chairman of Cognac Producers’ Union;

– Dobrov D.E., the Chairman of the Board of Alcohol Producers’ Union;

– Kashirin M.S., the President of Simple Group, the Vice-President of “Opora of Russia”;

– Lebedev K.M., the Executive Director of “Association of Beer and Beverage Market Participants”;

– Mamontov V.I., the Chairman of Russian Beverage Producers’ Union;

– Mordovin A.N., the President of Barley, Malt, Hops and Beer Union;

– Popovich L.L., the President of Viticulturists and Winemakers’ Union;

– Sokolov A.A., the Director of Association of Sparkling Wine Producers;

– Filatov V.G., the Chairman of the Board of the Union for Alcohol Importers;

– Tsvetkova E.V., the Chairman of the Board of Beer and Beverage Producers’ Union.

The following representatives of executive and legislative authorities were also included in the Working Group: from the Ministry for Economic Development, the Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation; the Ministry of Agriculture of the RF, the Federal Service for Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the State Duma and the Federation Council and law-enforcement authorities.

Aggregate membership of the Working Group is 52.

The State Secretary, the Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the RF Fomichev O.V. has led the Working Group.

According to the Regulations of the Working Group, all decisions are accepted by majority votes of members, presenting at the meetings.
