President of the Union A. Mordovin and representatives of the companies – members of the Union will take part in VIII Russian-Chinese Economic Forum of the business community which will be run in Beijing (PRC) in October 22, 2013.
A plenary session with participation of Premier of the State Council of PRC Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D. A. Medvedev, round tables and bilateral meetings between Russian and Chinese companies are included in the program of the Forum.
The leading topics of the Forum and Round tables are as follows:
– modernization of national economics and scientific-technical cooperation;
– cooperation of Russia and China in shipbuilding industry;
– agricultural cooperation between Russia and China;
– investment cooperation between Russia and China in the Far East and Siberia;
– construction of affordable housing in Russia.
Malting barley supply to the People’s Republic of China and implementation of “Beijing program” are the major points of the agricultural round table. The Minister of Agriculture N.V. Fedorov is expected to take part in the Forum.
Over 500 representatives of state run public authorities of Russia and China, local administration, Russian and Chinese businessmen, members of industrial and cross-sectoral unions and associations will take part in the Forum.
Solutions and recommendations accepted during the round tables of the Forum will be recorded in the protocol of the forum and in the final memorandum of XVII annual meeting of Russian and Chinese heads of government.
Organizers of this Forum are Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Commerce of PRC.
