On April 17, 2012 the BMU seminar meeting “Malting Barley Production in the Republic of Tatarstan: Volumes Increasing Prospects, Agrotechnics and Growing” took place at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan. The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Gabdrakhmanov I. Kh., the Efes-Rus Corporate Relations Development Director Averyanov S., the General Director of the Elite Seeds Tatarstan Association Egorov Yu. V., as well as executives of agricultural enterprises and farms took part in the seminar.
At the meeting 30 companies producing malting barley joined the Barley and Malt Union: peasant farm “Zemlyanki”, OOO “Zakamie-Agro”, OOO “Basu”, OOO “VakhRus”, OOO “Podgornyi”, OOO “Agrofirm Tukaevskaya Prodovolstvennaya Korporatsia”, OOO “Kommuna”, OOO “Veneta”, OOO “Agrofirm Aktai”, OOO “Tinchali”, IP Lushnikov Yu.
