Representatives of the Union delegation made a trip to Germany from 23 to 27 of September. Aims of the travel were: visiting Bavarian seed farms, participation in the training plant-growing workshop, a visit to the Technical University of Munich, malt production of “IREKS”, brewing company “Kulmbacher”, brewing, baking, hops museums and participation in Oktoberfest on 25th of September in the tent Spaten – SpatenOchsenbraterei.
This year a new record in drinking beer was set by Opalev Sergey (photo), Smolensk City and Shepetev Sergey (photo) from Orel. They covered the mark 8 litres of beer with strength 6%! By tradition of the Union both representatives will get the opportunity of a free trip to Oktoberfest 2014!
Every year numerous representatives of the Union visit Oktoberfest and every time it becomes one of the most significant events.
